Well, the old site was good to us for over 10 years. But all good things must come to an end. I was forced to upgrade the core site which also resulted in my changing the look. I won't go into why it was necessary and I know everyone hates change, but it is what it is. Please let me know if you have any issues while we complete the transition. Most features should work the same while it looks a little different. Thanks for your patience during this transition to what I hope will be a faster, more efficient site.

ACTS CONFERENCE A HUGE SUCCESS
|
294 appraisers, industry experts and vendors attended the 4th Annual ACTS Conference hosted by the National Association of Appraisers and Appraiser eLearning. We started the pre-conference on Friday with a fishing tournament and our own Ken Williams came away with the trophy for the largest fish for the second year in a row. Saturday saw 7 hours of CE followed by the Board of Directors meeting and dinner. Sunday I co-chaired the Board of Governors meeting and the afternoon was dedicated to Trainee and Supervisor courses. Monday and Tuesday provided 14 hours CE broken into 45 minute segments and presented by national industry leaders. The Awards Luncheon was held Tuesday. Jeff Bradford, Bradford Technologies, was presented the 2022 President's Award and Marty Wagar, from Michigan, was presented the 2022 Appraiser of the Year Award. Both are very deserving of this recognition.
One of the highlights of the conference was the Live and Silent Auction where all proceeds go to the Appraiser Relief Fund of the NAA. This fund is established to help appraisers who experience financial loss due to natural disasters. NAA has so far given out about $18,000 in relief to 11 appraisers who have applied. The fund is growing thanks to the generosity of appraisers throughout the nation. A HUGE THANK YOU goes to our own members who contributed to this silent auction by donating towards a $700.00 Home Depot Gift Card: (Stephanie Streep, Certified Residential Appraiser from San Antonio was the successful bidder at $600.00)
