PAUL HARDIN IS 2019 PRESIDENT OF MSCAPP
Paul began his appraisal career straight out of college in 1983 with the Farmers Home Administration as Agriculture Management Specialist and went from there to Senior Loan Officer in Washington, D.C. He was in this position when USPAP was adopted and served on the team to rewrite Farmers Home Administration regulations to comply with USPAP and redevelop the form appraisals for compliance.
Paul came back to Mississippi and Jackson in 1990 where he worked Farmers Home (Rural Development)/Farm Service Agency farm loan programs statewide (>$1 billion portfolio), holding several positions through the years until his retirement in 2016. Having served as Farmer Program Specialist, then Management Control Specialist, then Review Appraiser, then Farm Loan Program Specialist, his diverse background has given him comprehensive knowledge in farm & land management, loan making to foreclosures, real estate & appraisal services.
In 1996 Paul started pH Real Estate Services, Inc., in Madison, MS and now works exclusively in his real estate business where he is well known for his expertise in land and agricultural appraisals as well as residential, commercial and industrial appraisals. He is a Certified General RE Appraiser and Licensed RE Broker and holds the Accredited Land Consultant designation from the Realtors Land Institute (NAR).
